ABOUT

NOTICE: We are currently closed and will not be accepting any new business for the moment. Apologies for the disappointment.

Sulgrave Farm is located in idyllic countryside looking down over the village of Sulgrave. It is seven miles from Banbury on the Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire border. With easy access to the M40 and close to Silverstone, Stowe and Bicester Village it offers the perfect countryside hideaway within easy access of major road and rail networks, and the views from the house are unbeatable!

We have three rooms in the west end of the house, and can host a couple in the annexe, a group of friends looking for a quiet weekend away from city life, or a family of up to six (eight if two of them are little!)

We  offer a continental breakfast including tea, coffee, wholemeal bread, jams, muesli, yoghurts and juice, or, if more privacy is preferred, our fully equipped annexe kitchen lends itself to self-catering.

The Garden Room Annexe can be entirely self-contained, with an entrance from the garden for a couple looking to escape for a few days.

The upstairs bedrooms are part of the main house, so if you are booking for a family, please be aware the the owners will need to access to the laundry rooms downstairs, and your paths may cross in the corridor downstairs.

GUEST REVIEW

  • This was an absolutely fantastic and unique place to stay - we were only there for a night but everyone in the party of five is clamouring to book for a week. The unique setting and building, the little touches (fresh fruit and chocolate nibbles) on tea trays and the absolutely superb breakfast were more like an actual hotel than a B and B. The hostess was charming, informative and straightforward in approach. The tranquility and luxury of the setting made everyone relax. The beds are huge and superbly comfy with good linens and pillows immaculately laundered. The style of relaxed country manor was accompanied by piping hot water and a quiet sense of style that was very harmonious. The double French windows put onto the patio plus the windows either side gave lots of light and the feature ceilings were high and airy adding to the sense of space. I didn’t really want to tell people about this place, because I am worried you will now all book it and I won’t get a look in - but as that would be very selfish, I urge you to go and stay for a few nights to enjoy its relaxing charm.
